UpperBuffaloRiver.com The official website of the Upper Buffalo River Merchant's Association.  The site provides useful information on attractions and businesses in the Uppper Buffalo River area. Lost Valley Canoe is a founding member of the association.
Ponca Elk Education Center This is terrific local resource for elk and nature viewing. It features interactive displays, educational materials and small shop with books, maps, etc. Run by the Arkansas Game and Fish. Brochure.
Lost Valley Guide Lost Valley is the #1 hiking destination in the Upper Buffalo River area. This guide provides a narrative of the trail, and a printable topographical map of the attraction.
Buffalo River Region Maps This large collection of maps might be the most comprehensive for the Buffalo River Region. It includes not only Buffalo National River information, but also maps of Ozark National Forest, and AGFC Wildlife Management Areas.
Official Buffalo River Map (PDF) This is the official map for the entire Buffalo National River. Our printable topographical maps are more detailed and useful for floaters of the upper Buffalo National River.
Smith Creek Preserve Smith Creek Preserve is a project of the Nature Conservancy. Their new website, launched in February 2010, provides details about the preserve and maps. Smith Creek Preserve is located off Highway 21, just 3 miles from the Boxley Baptist Church. A great hiking and photography venue.
