Our rental kayaks are Old Town and Jacksons. We offer sit-on-tops, sit-ins, and tandem kayaks. We’ll help you select a style to fit your needs, or you can request a specific model when you make your reservation.

We offer vehicle shuttles to take-out points along the river for float trips or hiking. Shuttle prices vary depending on put-in and take-out destinations. For the safety of your vehicle, we suggest bringing an extra set of keys.
We run vehicle shuttles while guests are on the river. You’ll set up your shuttle when you complete your paperwork at the store. Then, you drive your vehicle to the put-in location on the river. Once you’re there, take a copy of your paperwork to the Lost Valley Canoe & Lodging crew members at the river. They’ll get you set up with the boat(s) you rented, and move your vehicle to the take-out point for you while you’re floating the river.
If you plan to be on the river for multiple days, we will return your vehicle to the LVC store parking lot overnight. Then, on the day you request it to be delivered, our shuttle drivers will transport it to the take-out point you requested.
We also offer private vehicle shuttles if you have your own vessels or are hiking or bicycling.

Raft Rentals
We offer vehicle shuttles to take-out points along the river for float trips rentals, private boats and hiking trails.
You’ll set up your vehicle shuttle while you complete your paperwork at the office. Then, you drive your vehicle to the put-in location on the river. Once your there, take your copy of the paperwork and vehicle keys to the Lost Valley Canoe & Lodging Crew members. They’ll get you set up with boat(s) you rented and/or move your vehicle to the take-out point for you while you’re floating the river.
**Due to limited of parking at take-out points, vehicle shuttles may become delayed on busy river days**
Tip: If able, bring an extra set of keys for your vehicle!
$20 Trailer fee for vehicle shuttles on Saturdays and Holidays
For multi-day river trips, we will return your vehicle to the office parking lot. Then, on the day you schedule for it to be delivered, our shuttle drivers will transport it to the take-out point.
If traveling by motorcycle, RV, or bus ask the office about alternative shuttle options.

Vehicle Problems
Vehicle problems/breakdowns that result in out-of-pocket expenses may result in an additional charge. These problems can include, but are not limited to, flat tires, insufficient gasoline level, engine issues, etc.
For the safety of our staff, we cannot shuttle any vehicle with an ignition interlock device.

No children under the age of 5 in rental boats.
We do not offer guided float trips
Launch Times
We float RAIN or SHINE unless weather or water conditions are considered dangerous.
If water levels reach flood stage, the National Park Service will close the river to all concessioners and cancel all boat reservations for the day at no charge to the guest(s).
There is a 14-day cancellation policy for all boat rentals. Guests can cancel their reservations up to 14 days before their reservation without a fee. Cancelling within 14 days results in the full charge of the guest's boat reservation.
Boat reservations are held with a valid Visa, Discover, MasterCard, or American Express card. The valid card is held (not charged) for the boat deposit and in the event of cancellation, damages, and/or lost/stolen equipment.
The full amount of the guests’ boat reservation is due at check-in at the office.
Any boat cancellations or changes to the guests’ boat reservation MUST be done via phone. If a voice message is left, it is the guests’ responsibility to follow up.
We do NOT accept cancellations via email or social media comments/messages.
Note/Disclosure:
If you cancel your boat reservation due to weather or water conditions, it does NOT exempt guests’ from a lodging reservation.
Lodging and Boat Rentals are SEPARATE reservations and have SEPARATE cancellation policies.
